This information provides a brief description of Nuclear Sciences Scientific Journal (NSSJ) format and style requirements as a guide for researchers whom plan to publish in the journal. Reading and thoroughly understanding the manuscript requirements before submission would ensure committing to NSSJ standards and thus facilitate acceptance by the editorial committee.
Formatting of Manuscripts
NSSJ publishes original researches only; moreover, original researches findings, reports, review articles, letters, technical reports, working papers ......etc, will all be considered for publishing. Also, they will be reviewed first and foremost by their relevance to the journal and returned to the authors for corrections. Other factors such as innovation, clarity of thought, and technical merit will be taken in consideration before the acceptance. All submissions are to be written in a correct English language.
Style and Formatting
NSSJ general rules to style and format are as follows:
First of all, manuscripts must be written using Microsoft Word 2007+ for paper submission to NSSJ. All manuscripts should be written in Times New Roman style. All manuscripts of research should be written in one and half spaced, font 12, title in font 14 bold with all capital letters and subtitles in font 12 bold, tables in excel or word format, separate photos (not in plate) in JPEG format. The manuscript should be in one side opaque white paper of A4 size. The margins should be 3 cm left and right and 2.5 cm from top and bottom. Committing to these limits could reduce each manuscript. The first page should include: manuscript title, author, corresponding author(s), and contact e-mail for the corresponding author. The following section would include the abstract, keywords, and introduction in that order. The abstract should be clear, concise and limited to 300 words. Keywords should be limited to 7 words or less. The introduction should outline what is already generally known and commonly accepted on the subject and what the paper will add. An Arabic summary must be attached to the manuscript written in simplified arabic style, font 14 and including the manuscript's title in font 16 bold, author(s) name, and their positions.
Second of all, the body text of the paper that follows, shall contain simplicity to be understood, logically arranged, and to be of the highest quality and clarity. The image quality and clarity which is very important in the journal production process. Photographs should be supplied in JPEG format with DPI (dots per inch) equal to 300 or greater.

Agreements of Publishing
Journal published by the Scientific Society of Nuclear Materials Authority (SSNMA) is open access. Copyright for articles published in any journal is retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to NSSJ. Once the manuscripts are published in the Journal; the content of the article will be accessible to be used freely in any non-commercial setting, taking the proper attribution into account.
Publication Deadline
NSSJ selects manuscripts throughout the year to publish, while the editorial committee exerts hard efforts to publish each manuscript expeditiously; however, it cannot set a date of completion of each review. The review process is left to the point of view of the reviewers. Each accepted manuscript will be processed, with due diligence, after the acceptance of the editorial committee. Every reviewed manuscript will be uploaded on the website for 14 days, if there is no any further objections, it will be formally accepted.
Manuscript Terms and Conditions
All manuscripts are submitted online. Note: Terms and Conditions are only the first step towards possible publication in NSSJ and do not guarantee acceptance or publication in the journal.
Charge of Article Processing
The journal is published by open access which are freely accessible on the Internet. NSSJ guarantee that no academic institutions or reader won't have the ability either to buy a subscription nor to pay any pay-per-view fees to access articles in the journal. Articles published in NSSJ are freely available online to anyone, which maximizes the visibility, and thus the uptake and use of articles.
Payment Methods
Payment procedure will be notified to the author via e-mail after the successful review process. The author(s) needs to pay the mentioned charges excluding the transaction charges as a publication fee for each accepted manuscript by the Editorial Board.
The payment must be made within 14 days after receiving information that the article has been accepted to be published in the journal. The article may be published only after it has been approved for publication by the reviewers and the publisher has received the fees of publication in the journal.
